"Russian warship, go fuck yourself." - Roman Hrybov
"Give me liberty or give me death." - Patrick Henry
"No one is free until we are all free." - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
"First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me." —Martin Niemöller
"A man can't ride your back unless it's bent" - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
"I am here. We are not putting down arms. We will be defending our country,
because our weapon is truth, and our truth is that this is our land, our country, our children,
and we will defend all of this." - Volodymyr Zelenskyy
"He who is brave is free." - Lucius Annaeus Seneca
"“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
“Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” - Jesus
"Whoever commits sin is a slave of sin." - Jesus
"You can't thingify anything without depersonalizing that something.
If you use something as a means to an end,
at that moment you make it a thing and you depersonalize it.
The fact is that the negro was a slave in this country for 244 years.
That was a willful thing that was done, the negro was brought here in chains,
treated in very inhuman fashion. And this lead to the thingification of the negro.
So he was not looked upon as a person.
He was not looked upon as a human being with the same status
and worth as other human beings." - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
"Those who would give up essential liberty for temperary safety,
deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin
"Science has provided the possibility of liberation for human beings from hard labor.
But science itself is not a liberator. It creates means, not goals.
Man should use science for reasonable goals. When the ideals of humanity are war and conquest,
those tools become as dangerous as a razor in the hands of a child of 3.
We must not condemn man's inventiveness and patient conquest of the forces of nature
because they are being used wrongly and disobediently now.
The fate of humanity is entirely dependent upon its moral development.
Exaggerated nationalism is an artificially created emotional state
resulting from the necessity to be prepared for war.
This exaggerated nationalism would quickly disappear with the elimination of the war danger.
I am far from being optimistic, what I have told you is not a prophecy
but a statement of what must be done to prevent life on this Earth from becoming unbearable.
Everybody will agree that we are now farther removed from this goal then seems to be the case 10 years ago.
This prospect could have been avoided if the democracies had then shown the same solidarity and
readiness for sacrifice they have shown now in this hour of great emergency.
Will to sacrifice, solidarity, and why both sides however, are most effective, before the hour of dire necessity has arrived.
May our America be there in such an hour through the resolute action of her citizens and statesmen.
I believe that America will prove, that democracy is not merely a form of government bound to a good constitution,
but also a way of life, supported by a people who have a good tradition, a tradition of moral strength.
And the fate of the human race is more than ever dependent on its moral strength today."

America, far from perfect, was the first country founded for Jesus Christ and based His principals.
This is because those who landed here were escaping a tyranical monarchy.
So instead of planting the a British flag for King George III, they planted a cross, for Jesus Christ.
